When this blog started it was all about yoga. I’m a certified yoga teacher from the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre where I was given the spiritual name Maheshwari. I’m registered with the Canadian Yoga Alliance. I also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Mount Saint Vincent University and a coaching and mentoring diploma from the Institute of Counseling in Glasgow, Scotland.
Through the years I’ve started writing more and more about my journey through life. My life has been impacted by depression, alcoholism and kidney disease and I talk about my personal struggles and experiences with each. I hope that the overall theme is one of hope. We can get through the times that are difficult; it takes compassion, patience and perspective. On this blog you will read when I suffer, but you also read when I come to terms and accept.
