I am just a yoga teacher

This is a great article. We sometimes have great expectations of others, whether they’re yoga teachers or any other sort of teacher or leader. There have been times in my life that people have judged me because I didn’t live up to their expectations of me. The only thing that really matters though, is that I live up to my own expectations of me- and that those expectations are not unreasonable. I truly believe we all just do the best we can.

    I couldn’t have said what you said or what Amy said ANY better.
    How odd that when we teach/instruct, the other end seems to think we expect a lot from them? When all we are doing is sharing our path that we may all walk together at a familiar road.
    Thank you for this, Reena. I’m reblogging it. My first ever!! =)

    Like a chain, we link what we find to help lengthen goodness.

    Reblogged from Yoga with Maheshwari, from Amy Cushing, elephant journal.
    Namaste. =)
